Royston Summers return with their second single this September, entitled ‘Take A Chance’ and featuring four alternate versions of the title-cut.

Following a successful inauguration of the Royston Summers project with ‘Summer Lovin’’ the pair continue their story here with their latest single, once again employing an amalgamation of influences from vintage house and cosmic disco through to eighties pop and new wave.

Leading the package is the ‘Dark Disco Mix’, as the name would suggest laying focus on brooding arpeggios, hazy stabs, crunchy drums and airy, hypnotic vocals. A ‘Dark Disco Dub’ follows, stripping things back to its pure instrumental form.

The ‘Raw Vocal Mix’ follows next, this time round bringing a more House leaning aesthetic into the mix rhythmically, while circling synth sequences, a wandering bass groove and breathy vocal chants further fuel the jacking groove. A ‘Raw Mix’ then follows, once again offering a reduced take on things and bringing the synth grooves into the limelight.
